About Me

I am board certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology. I am also Lasik Certified (VISX Excimer Laser System). I am the Co-Founder of Pediavision LLC, a vision screening corporation to save children's eyesight. Our motto is "We keep the future in sight".

I have extensive microsurgical experience in  phacoemulsification,  no stitch, self-sealing cataract surgery with toric and multifocal intraocular lenses,  corneal transplantation(lamellar and penetrating), and refractive lensectomy. I perform Laser photocoagulation procedures for Retina and Glaucoma, Vitrectomy procedures and Minor oculoplastics procedures.My practice is involved with numerous clinical trials looking at the newest treatments for Glaucoma, macular degeneration, eye infections and dry eyes.I  attended the State University of New York Health Science Center at Brooklyn where I earned my MD degree and completed a fellowship at the University of Texas in corneal diseases and surgery.
