Since residency I have worked as an Obstetrician-Gynecologist in New York and New Jersey. I deal with preventive health care issues, as well as illnesses in both pregnant and non-pregnant women from youth throughout menopause. Specializing in minimalist surgical approaches, I utilize hysteroscopy and laparoscopy techniques whenever possible. I have found a niche with some cutting-edge gynecological techniques. Two separate companies (Conceptus and American Medical Systems) have certified me to train other physicians in "NON-scar" surgery with Essure tubal occlusion device (arguably the simplest, safest, and most effective permanent sterilization procedure), as well as HER Option uterine cryoablation device (easy and painless alternative, done in the office, for those with heavy bleeding to significantly reduce the need for traditional hysterectomy). I am board certified, and a Fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology, and a member of the Israel Medical Association. I have been a member of the North American Society for Pediatric and Adolescent Gynecology, Society for Laparoscopic Surgeons, American Medical Association, and American Institute of Ultrasound Medicine. Rabbinically trained as a Mohel, I take great pride in the performance of Brit Milah (Ritual Jewish circumcision). I have a wife and four children, and in my spare time, I enjoy continuing in my martial arts background, and, of course, playing golf. |
